What makes this product sustainable?
At Eugenie, we do the research to make it easy for you to find products that you can feel good about purchasing, using, and wearing.
Each new designer we work with starts with a conversation about sustainability and how it relates to their brand and products.
Sustainability can mean many different things, we tried to break it down for you in a way that is easy to understand.
Local Production, Made To Order
All pieces are handmade to order, start to finish, by Laura Powers in New York.
Bruce's gold is blended using exclusively recycled materials, like bench scraps and gold dust, rather than mined gold.
Bruce uses untreated, natural stones, working with only 2 suppliers, both multigenerational importing families with an unwavering commitment to ethical sourcing and cutting practices. Their white brilliant diamonds are reclaimed and recycled from vintage jewelry.
To further reduce their impact, Bruce uses recycled, compostable and biodegradable packaging and marketing materials.
Low Energy & Low Waste
Bruce works with like-minded vendors, committed to transparency and sustainability within the industry.
Bruce's chain supplier is a green refinery which conserves energy, re-uses materials, reduces chemical production and creates zero-discharge wastewater.
