  • Natural Materials

Ound works exclusively with ethical wool and botanically dyed silk material. Their wool is sourced from GOTS-certified, RWS-certified, and NATIVA-certified suppliers, ensuring that this biodegradable material is handled with the highest care and environmental integrity. While the wool remains undyed, Ound chooses to dye their silk solely with botanical dyes. By utilizing ancient, natural dye methods with local materials, Ound is helping reduce the textile industry’s massive contribution to 20% of global industrial water pollution.

  • Small Batch Production

This brand practices Small Batch Production to ensure they never overproduce their product. Each Ound piece is one-of-a-kind and released in limited editions, making each purchase a truly unique investment.

  • Ethical Production

Ound utilizes the Permaculture approach as a brand guideline, which is a philosophy based on observing nature's patterns and mirroring them in creative or agricultural practice. This design method focuses on sharing and utilizing surplus material rather than wasting it.

Additionally, Ound hires local independent female artisans in Santa Lucía to hand-knit their wool garments with a zero-waste method and mindset.
