Recycled Materials
Flash prioritizes using certified recycled metals and biodegradable goods whenever possible including Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) Certified Recycled Silver & Gold. Using recycled metals reduces the global demand on the harmful mining industry.
Ethical Production
This brand works with a manufacturing partner in Thailand that meets the following certification standards: Responsible Jewellery Council, ISO 9001:2015 accredited, UN Global Compact, and Flash Jewellery Code of Conduct.
Circularity
Flash created their own “buy-back” program so their community could recycle unwanted jewelry. Giving these metals a second life reduces the amount of material that ends up in a landfill, while also reducing the need to purchase new material from the mining industry.
Low Waste
This brand saves all their jewelry, components, parts, and spares. These parts are remade into new pieces in-house or kept for repairs. Faulty or broken items that are unable to be repaired are all sent back to the manufacturer; these pieces and parts are melted down, purified, and recycled.
