What makes this product sustainable?

At Eugenie, we do the research to make it easy for you to find products that you can feel good about purchasing, using, and wearing.

Each new designer we work with starts with a conversation about sustainability and how it relates to their brand and products.

Sustainability can mean many different things, we tried to break it down for you in a way that is easy to understand.

  • Natural Materials

The majority of Vagabond products are made with LWG-certified leather and chrome-free inner soles. The linings of Vagabond shoes are made from either GOTS-certified cotton, recycled polyester, Tencel Lyocell, or S. Cafe.

  • Circularity

Vagabond is committed to making sure their products achieve both longevity and circularity through their Shoe Bring Back program. Customers may bring worn out Vagabond shoes to one of their European concept stores, where the shoes will be transformed back into usable raw material.

  • Transparency

Vagabond provides a public list of the names and addresses of each of their suppliers. This kind of transparency helps keep brands accountable to their communities and the values they espouse.
